The rooms could be considered pokey but where very well decorated, clean and comfortable, and close to the Concorde 2 where we had tickets for a gig. The breakfast (vegetarian full english) was substantial with lovely hot bread and butter. Would definitely book again
The only real problem was, being near a main road, traffic from very early in the morning, especially from residents who had parked near by but the noise was largely blocked out with the windows down. Unfortunately there was also a building site nearby where they started up a jackhammer at 07.40 in the morning! Hopefully they'll be finished when I return in June

Close to local facilities, helpful staff and comfortable bed
the man in the room next door kept shouting out in his sleep so woke me up a few times during the night

The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and courteous, pointing us in the right direction for places to go out. The room was clean and comfy. It is just a short walk from The Lanes, shops and restaurants; ideal!
Parking is a real challenge.

shopping and went to a pop concert
our bathroom was extremely tiny - it was not a problem as the overall place was nice and friendly but - i would recommned they move the shelve above the sink and place above the toilet as my husband could not use the sink to shave without risking bashing his head and the shower pipe was split and broken sorry but i think this should be changed immediately.

The room was excellent - clean and spacious. Food in the French bistro in the sister hotel was excellent and 2/3 course specials were good value. Breakfast was local produce and much higher standard than usual.
Automatic fan in bathroom couldn't be overidden and stayed on for full 10 minutes every time the light was used. Tip: use the shaving light and the fan (very loud) doesn't come on.

Location at The Gullivers was a major highlight. It's a short walk to the beach and central attractions like the Brighton Pier. The room had clean linens and good tea and coffee facilities, which I appreciated. The noise levels were quite bothersome. Doorbell ringing in the early hours disrupted my sleep, frustrating. The shower had drainage issues and needed frequent adjustments to prevent water backflow. The mattress wasn't comfortable either, feeling worn out. The lack of electrical plugs near the kettle made it inconvenient to prepare drinks, especially with small kids around. I think there's potential, but several areas definitely need addressing to enhance guest comfort and satisfaction.

It is a beautifully designed and well priced property located in Kemptown district very close to restaurants and bars, and Brighton. The hotel has a central location nice to be close to the beach. 100 metres are distance to a restaurant. They have welcome beverages in the in-house bar.

Location
Where shall I start... I'm not a fusy person but I have to say that this must be the worst b&b I have ever stayed in. The staff hardly understood English, the room was dirty and the bathroom was just horrendous (sink was placed in the room, the shower looked like they had to fit it somewhere so they just squeezed in with the toilet, it was dark, dirty, smelly and so small that you had to close one door to open another). The breakfast was def not proper full English and not worth the £8.85! One word - horrible place!
